C&C Senior Services’ mission is to make life easier for caregivers, seniors and their families, and others needing help by providing a circle of care for our clients’ financial, administrative and household management needs. Our goals are to help our clients age in place, to support their independence, and to help create safe and secure living environments for them. We both have a passion for working with seniors and others who need assistance and want to make sure our clients are taken care of and not taken advantage of. We consider ourselves fortunate that we get to do what we love most and assist those who need it the most. – Curt Crowhurst and Cindy Causby, Co-Owners of C&C Senior Services

With 20+ years’ experience as a trust officer, I bring to C&C Senior Services legal, tax, financial and administrative knowledge and an understanding of working with seniors. To enhance what I learned on the job, I attended the Cannon Trust School and graduated in 1996 and later completed the Trust School at Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2010. I have earned, and continue to hold, the designations of a CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) from the ABA Institute of Certified Bankers, as well as the AEP® designation from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC).
I am also a licensed Notary Public. Previously I served as the President of my local estate planning council (the Land of the Sky Estate Planning Council) and remain an active member today. During the term 2009 – 2012, I served as a Board Member of NAEPC and continue to be involved by serving as a member of the NAEPC Education Foundation Board.
I am passionate about giving back to our community, both locally and internationally. Having been the past President of the Rotary Club of Asheville, and now a board member of the Rotary Club of Hendersonville, I have had many opportunities to volunteer in our community…from building Habitat Houses… to flying WWII veterans to Washington DC….to participating in a medical/dental brigade in the rural mountains of Honduras.
I currently serve on the Board of the Community Foundation of Henderson County and on the Professional Advisory Committee for the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina.
I enjoy traveling (exploring roads unknown), along with camping, fishing, hiking, and golf. I was born and raised in Morganton, NC where my parents, brother and sister still reside.

As a fourth-generation Macon County native who has lived and worked in both Franklin and Highlands for more than 35 years, I am intimately familiar with the area and its people. After graduating from Franklin High School, I attended the University of North Carolina where I earned a BA degree.
My professional career has largely been spent in the nonprofit world, encompassing both large-scope services and smaller community efforts. From 1989-1999 I was Executive Director of Macon Program for Progress , a county-wide nonprofit which provides assistance to families and individuals. In 2013, I retired from Hudson Library – Highlands, NC | Fontana Regional Library, a position which allowed me to continue using my community skills. Currently, I work part-time in the summer for the Highlands Cashiers Chamber Music Festival.
My family has a long history of civic involvement, and I have continued that heritage by serving on local boards such as the Macon County Community Foundation and, most recently, the Highlands Community Child Development Center. I like helping people access the services they need to make their lives more enjoyable, and I work to make that happen in every one of my volunteer or paid positions. Through First Presbyterian Church of Highlands, I have participated in mission opportunities from Old Fort, NC to Montero, Bolivia. I sing in the chancel choir and am active in “Beyond the Walls” book discussions. I also enjoy spending time in my garden or walking in our neighborhood. I practice yoga regularly and cook dinner at home nearly every night.
